Who we are
Founded in 2016, Calford Care Inc. was built around a simple conviction: that people thrive when they receive support that is relational, practical, and genuinely tailored to where they are.
We work with individuals and families facing diverse and often complex needs — strengthening personal capacity, family stability, and long-term well-being through hands-on, care-oriented initiatives.
Our work is relational and individualized. We prioritize dignity, safety, and privacy in everything we do — meeting people where they are, encouraging sustainable growth rather than chasing metrics.
At our core, we are values-driven and people-centered. Programs are designed to support lasting change, not transactional outcomes.
Our people
Calford Care Inc. is a family-led organization. The people behind it bring both professional experience and personal conviction to everything they do.
Nathan brings a broad background spanning IT leadership, project management, process improvement, and organizational development — with experience at management and director levels. He describes his approach as that of a “general practitioner”: someone who understands systems, identifies gaps, and helps move meaningful work forward.
Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brock University and leads the day-to-day care programs at Calford Care. She is a community leader with deep roots in the Niagara region, actively involved in local outreach and family support initiatives.

In addition to direct care services, Calford Care Inc. selectively takes on consulting work with organizations whose missions align with our values. Our principal consultant brings a background spanning IT leadership, project management, process improvement, and organizational development — with hands-on experience in both management and director-level roles across multiple sectors.
We offer a grounded, generalist perspective to nonprofits and community-focused organizations — particularly where the work requires someone who can quickly understand systems, identify gaps, and help move meaningful work from intention to execution.
